Wiesmann goes for a rebirth

Great news for those who love the brand with the logo of a Gecko. Wiessmann, the company that went bankrupt in 2014 is taken over by two English investors who want to revive the brand. According to Autovisie the papers are already signed and it's only a matter of time before the production starts again.

It's still a question which model will be produced at the Wiesmann factory. Before the bankruptcy the manufacturer from Dülmen, Germany was working on the development of a new and cheaper MF3. This project was realized before the company went bankrupt. In 20 years, Wiesmann produced 1.700 cars. That's not much and we hope that they will find more customers this time. We will keep you posted!
