Will Mercedes-AMG not get the One under control?

The engineers at Mercedes-AMG are likely having sleepless nights. Only a handful of One models have been delivered, but they are rarely driven. The project seems endless and the One is still being tested on and around the Nürburgring. Dylan discovered another test vehicle.

We are now seven(!) years later, and Mercedes-AMG still hasn't gotten the One right. Last year, a selected group of media had the chance to drive the One on the Nürburgring, but it wasn't easy. Error messages were flying around, and the Germans were visibly embarrassed. Since its introduction in 2017, only two units have been spotted on Autogespot. This, despite production supposed to have started in mid-2019 and all 250 units expected to be on the road by 2024. Nothing could be further from the truth, and only a few "lucky" individuals have received the car. Driving it, however, is barely possible due to the persistent error messages. Will Mercedes-AMG ever get this under control, or will the project go down like the Titanic?
