Lamborghini knows that the Aventador LP700-4 isn't enough for some. That's why they came up with the Aventador J and the Veneno in the past two years. Limited copies of an already exclusive supercar. DMC Luxury thinks they can do the same as Lamborghini. After the LP988-4 Edizione GT they come up with the even more exclusive Aventador LP1200-4R concept.
LamboCars.com recently had an interview with Greg from DMC Luxury and they asked him what he would to if he had unlimited financial resources to make a hypercar. The idea of a 2.5 million dollar Aventador LP1200-4R was born. A supercar where the bodywork is removed from the car and all you have left is a bare chassis. DMC Luxury wanted to make the Aventadore more extreme than ever before with a completely new bodywork. All components are redeveloped and made out of carbon fiber. The interior would also be completely bespoke. The customer decides what kind of Aventador he would like to have and DMC just makes it. 700 hp might be enough for most of us, some simply want more. A twin turbo system has to produce an extra 500 hp. Enough to reach a top speed of 375 kph.
Is DMC Luxury gone crazy? It is a fact that the market of hypercars is in a continuous motion and the customer is more demanding than ever before. Building bespoke cars for a lot of money is very likely the future.
