Spotted in Greenwich (CT), United States of America

I first found this 2009 Aston Martin DBS parked on Greenwich Avenue on 10/17/2020 (photos 1-3). I found it again parked on Greenwich Avenue on 10/31/2020 (photos 4-10). These older Astons have aged so well. I can't imagine the same will happen with the current generation of Astons however...

Superb find! What an amazing spec. Red interiors on black cars <3

This will without a doubt go down as one of the best designs of the 21st century. It is proportioned so perfectly, which just enough street presence to hint at its true nature without screaming for attention. The new DBS Superleggera might look more "exotic", but I don't think it's as beautiful. This spec with the manual gearbox would be absolutely perfect. Nice combo with the Alpina B6 back there as well.

    Now that's a spot, I love these.

And I gotta agree with the both of y'all. Any Aston between 2008 and 2017 (basically the DBS and the Vanquish S and everything in between) is just timeless. The Virage, the updated DB9s and Vantages (especially the V12 Vantage), the Rapides. Designs so amazing to look at it hurts. Inside and out. And they haven't aged a bit. Why? Because the only piece of tech they cared about was that crappy Garman sat-nav, just hide it away and the design is damn near flawless. These cars just have no bad angles. They'll for sure be classics in the future and now's probably the best time to buy them. The newer ones are still unique but you can tell the design language isn't as refined. I'll never love the DB11/S coupe's roof. And the interior dash designs are mediocre, especially with that dated Mercedes screen you can't ever hide. They remind me of the DB7. Looks good but not great and didn't age well.
