Terugkerend van twee stevige wandelingen (Old Man of Storr en The Quiraing) was onze laatste stop Kilt Rock en Mealt Falls. Tijdens het rondkijken op het uitzichtpunt stopte deze mooie AM Rapide. Ik maakte wat foto's en de eigenaar kwam een babbeltje slaan. Was het een Amerikaan met een passie voor auto's (alsook een collectie vol auto's). Hij had hem in de UK gekocht om er 1 week mee rond te rijden en daarna te verschepen naar de USA voor verkoop. Fijne ontmoeting. --- Returning from two long hikes (Old Man of Storr and The Quiraing), our last stop was Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls. While exploring the viewpoint, this beautiful AM Rapide pulled up. I took some photos, and the owner came over for a chat. He was an American with a passion for cars (and a collection full of them). He bought it in the UK to drive around for a week and then ship it to the USA for sale. It was a pleasant encounter.

Great spot! I believe the owners name is Doug Tabbutt, he owns a dealership called Switch cars, as well as having a social media presence with his podcast Switchcars as well as appearing on quite a few Vinwiki videos.

Briljant verhaal haha! Net goed getimed dat je deze nog kon spotten tijdens z'n laatste weekje op Britse bodem. Persoonlijk vind ik het een mega lekker exemplaar zo in deze kleur. Leuk om de info over de nieuwe eigenaar te lezen.
