    I think this is a straight six Vantage model and not a V8? I might be wrong though...

    @Freakkkk, @Rover-Spots Thank you!
    @Regulus1 I just picked the closest looking model, but I think you’re correct. I’ve changed the type to Vantage 1972-1973 as it seems that’s what it is. One of 71 produced apparently

    This indeed is a rare car. According to vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk this car was first registered in May 1973, and it does have a straight 6 of 3995 cc.
    The official site of Aston Martin says : "In order to counter the increased weight of DBS, the Vantage version boasted revised camshafts to boost performance. In April 1972, a revised DBS was introduced with two headlamps rather than four. Simply called the AM Vantage, 70 examples of this model were produced."
    Production of the DBS started in 1967. The AM site says : "After an announcement on 27 September, 1969, DBS was made available with the long awaited V8 engine, with the car being known as DBSV8 – a four-seat grand touring car, capable of 160 mph."
    So it is really funny that EBO8L was produced in 1973, with a 6 cilinder motor, whereas the V8 motor was already produced for 4 years. And it got the revised body, introducd somewhere in 1972.
    Very strange things happened at that time in the Aston Martin factory.
