That was the McLaren F1 that debuted back in 1992. This car had a measured topspeed of 240.1 mph, or 243 mph if we believe McLaren's official measurements. At that time nobody was watching YouTube movies, simply because the site didn't exist. After 25 years, McLaren has (finally) released video of the McLaren F1 reaching its topspeed.
