At long last, I finally spotted the ZR-1! My parents picked me up from school early for a doctor's appointment but on the way there we had to pick up our other car that was being serviced in Brewster. On the way, I saw this incredible (and loud as hell) 2012 Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR-1 driving northbound on I-684. The owner saw me taking pictures, flashed his lights at me and then floored past our car. I have been waiting several years to spot one on the road and I finally did. What a great day today.
