Besides SRT, there is another American car manufacturer that is showing it's new flagship supercar, Chevrolet, and it's new 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray, has been shown in Dubai.. We know how much the car is retailed at in the Netherlands, but in Dubai, the price is undoubtedly lower. Whether this is enough to beat the sports cars that Europe can offer, such as the Porsche 991, remains to be seen, but Chevrolet makes at least a valiant effort here to stand at the show.
The Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray utilises sharper lines and details than the car's European rivals. Curves are one thing this car is limited on, to just it's four alloys and steering wheel, and the rear is even more prominent, with the signature circular taillights now gone. The front is also undeniably reminiscent of older Corvettes, but still is quite handsome alongside the designs of Corvettes from the past six generations.. The car is beautifully set-up, like the one shown at the show and the other customer cars. The burgundy exterior and black rims, work wonderfully together and do justice to the power that is available, which is around 466 hp, and 630 Nm of torque.
