Geneva 2013: Audi RS Q3

The least exciting RS-model in Geneva is the Q3. The real interesting cars are of course the RS7 and RS6 C7 Avant. The Q3 has three cylinders less than these cars but it does have a great five cylinder engine with enough power to sprint to 100 kph in less than six seconds.

The RS Q3 is a car in a unique market where it doesn’t have any competitors yet. BMW has no M-model of the X1 and the Ford Kuga and Toyota RAV4 aren’t very sporty either. The five cylinder engine produces 310 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Next to that, the looks of the compact SUV are changed so it now looks like a more sporty car. It has sporty wheels is lowered with 25 millimeters and has all the well-known RS-design elements like bigger bumpers and an oval exhaust. Small RS-logos will tell everyone that this is the fastest Q3 there is.
