Geneva 2013: Jaguar XFR-S

The new Jaguar XFR-S was already spotted in London, a few months ago. It was an early scoop for this car. In Geneva, the XFR-S get is European debut as the most sporty four-door Jaguar, ever. In the colour French Racing Blue, the XFR-S is the most outstanding car on the stand of Jaguar. Now it’s about time that we take this car for a ride!

The XF is the youngest model of Jaguar. Jaguar introduced the XF in 2007 to aim for younger customers. With the XFR, a fast and sporty version was introduced but the XFR-S is a real animal. Under the hood, we find a V8 which produces 550 hp and 680 Nm of torque. This makes the XFR-S compete with the BMW M5 F10, Audi RS7 and Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG. But while all these cars are relatively modest, the Jag screams for attention. The car has an enormous front bumper with carbon fiber elements and at the back you can get an optional rear spoiler which doesn’t improve the view in your rearview mirror. When you buy an XFR-S, you give in on comfort, but in return you’ll get a real Jaguar!
