The men from SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) know how to make a car really special. We thought that they reached the top with their F-TYPE R but we were wrong. Jaguar brought the F-Type SVR to Geneva.
Finally we can enjoy this car in real life and we really love the things that SVO did with the F-Type. The best thing about the SVR is the fact that it's available as a convertible while the R was only available as a Coupé. This way you can enjoy the lovely sound of the V8 even better. The V8 now produces 575 hp and 700 Nm of torque which makes the SVR sprint to 100 kph in less than four seconds and reaches a top speed of 322 kph. This makes the F-Type SVR one of the fastest Jaguars every built. Only the XJ220 has a higher top speed, 347 kph.
In real life the car looks just amazing. The additions on the SVR are really sporty without making it too much. In the interior we see diamond stitched leather, a detail that always looks great in interiors. In short, the F-Type SVR is a really succesful model and we hope to see the first spots on Autogespot soon!
