Amazing spot, I agree with you on that it looks lovely in red. I’ve recently found a Nikon camera my parents used a few years ago and was wondering if you had any tips on car photos as your photos are very nice and you have a Nikon too. Thanks for any advice

@Snekily1 so, depends what camera it is,if it's a DSLR,so something like a D3000 or so I recommend to put it in sports mode for taking pictures of cars on the move (it's the symbol with the running person), because you get clear shots. For taking pictures of parked cars either sports mode or Landscape mode (the mode the picture of Landscape on it) are good,I've never tried portrait mode but I might. For night shots I recommend again sports mode for cars on the move but then take more time in preparing the pictures,but obviously don't use a flash. Taking pictures of parked cars in the dark I personally don't use a flash but one can do that to try and lighten it. A high a aperture is also always good. I hope that helps. @ST22HTV The camera I have is a Nikon D60, which I’m pretty sure is a DSLR camera. I’ll try taking the photos in sports mode, thanks for the tip, but the problem I have with it is that the camera takes photos very slowly. I’ve turned up the shutter speed which helped a bit but I’ve still averaged about 4 photos of a moving car, which should be fine, but I’d like to be able to take more. I’ll try landscape mode for parked cars, because like I said the photos you take of parked cars look nice! About the flash, I’ve personally tried to use it in low light shots, but the photos just end up looking worse (in my opinion). Anyway, thanks for the advice, and I’ll try using your tips when I next go spotting!

@Snekily1 do you press down individually for pictures or keep the shutter button down constantly? If you keep the shutter button down you should be able to get quite a lot of pictures. I am know used to my camera so I can take more time with a driving car but when I first had my camera I used the consistent shutter.

@Snekily1 just from my experience with the D70 sports mode is indeed very good for moving cars. I personally wouldn't reccomend using sports mode for standing cars tho. I find myself getting sharper pictures way easier when using landscaping or anything like that.

@Snekily1 by the way,when spotting moving cars take more time to focus the pictures and also at night,if you can press down for longer before you release the shutter

@Snekily1 good luck. Missed a Cayman GTS,911 Turbo S Cabrio and Shelby F150 Raptor in Liverpool today,I don't take my camera outside in Liverpool because I usually don't see any nice cars here but I might start doing it

Yh, I wasnt planning on uploading from inside the show ofcourse?. I do have some from outside like a couple of M3, M4, just missed my first M2 G87. Also got an R8, some mercs and audis and a Maybach. Also an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but you'll see it in some time!
