The last period was a very hard period for the German car producer. Thanks to new orders the company slowlygains new money. This means the production of the Tornante will be restarted. Recently some new sketches appeared on the internet.
It’s almost two years ago the Tornante was shown to the public in Geneva. It still is a very remarkable view. However, the conceptcar is updated to a better looking Tornante. Gumpert wants to make this model more practical for every day-use than the hardcore Apollo, which was more of a trackday car. This doesn’t immediately mean the the Tornante isn’t exciting to drive, because it really will be. It will be produced with a central placed V8 which provide your right foot of nearly 700 bhp. For Gumpert the focus will stay on gaining money. We hope that the Tornante will make it to the production-phase, because there are not many supercars which look more exclusive.
