Audi showed us the ‘new’ R8 in Paris . The MY2013 version is refreshed and is ready for the next few years. But just like every Audi, you have to take a good look before you see the differences. After the closed version was spotted at the Nürburgring, it’s now time for the Spyders. The V8 and V10 version were spotted in sunny Spain.
On the outside, the nose is refreshed with a new grille and new headlights. The back has new lights and other exhausts, from now on the exhausts are round. Not much is changed engine-wise. The 430 bhp strong V8 and the 530 bhp strong V10 are still there. We are waiting for the R8 V10 Plus to be spotted. This car has a stunning 550 bhp, this makes this version accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The R8 V8 Spyder needs 4.8 seconds and the V10 Spyder does this sprint in 4.1 seconds.
