Movie: acceleration of the BMW i8!

Mar 26, 2014, 12:17 PM Just a few more weeks and we can finally enjoy the BMW i8 on the streets. The production will start soon and this means that the first customers will get their copy of BMW's electric supercar. In this short movie we can hear the sound of the i8 when the pedal is floored. The Active Sound System in the i8 is disabled so this is the real sound of the three cylinder engine which can also be found in the Mini! We have to say that it sounds quite good!

They already made the Lamborghini Gallardo produce a stunning 1.000 hp thanks to a double turbo, but not every model is this powerful. This blue copy produces around 700 hp, but doesn't look less brutal. The car looks this brutal thanks to the tires. The wide tires make the Gallardo look really brutal!

Event: Borderrun 2014

All over this country there are ovals and roll racing is a big sport. TX2K recently organized a Roll Race on the Texas World Speedway with the only restriction that all competing cars had to produce at least 800 hp. The result? A true spectacle of very powerful cars. The cars will will cross the starting line with a speed of 100 kph, after this starting line they floor the pedal and try to be the first to cross the finish line!
