Jan 19, 2013, 9:34 AM Yes, the invasion started. A lot of 4S models of the 997-series are sold and they need to be replaced at a certain moment. As we experienced by ourselves, you are addicted to a Porsche as soon as you drove one. In ‘s Gravenzande, the following duo was spotted, and they also have a succeeding license plate. To finish the combo, there’s also a Cayenne next to the Carrera’s, but the Cayenne isn’t very interesting anymore.

That year, we went on the Gumball 3000 with a 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo. Reliable, powerful, the pinnacle of German engineering but boring. As good as a drive as the Porsche was, it wasn't a real head turner.
