Audi showed their new design strategy which means their models will be more recognizable, just like the new TT which will be introduced in 2014. The successor is another TT, with wich Audi wants to go back to basics. The current car is on sale since 1998.
There are several elements that refer to the history of the successful sportscar. Simple and elegant lines are what we can expect, according to the insiders. Clear modern visual elements, the single frame with six corners and modern LED-headlights. The spyspot below shows us a mule. A car which is at the first phase of testing. The bodywork is from a normal current Audi TT. We just have to wait until we see the first camouflated new TT’s.
Audi wants to drop the weight by using an aluminum structure. The current TT weighs 1240 kilograms, also not that heavy. Audi will try hard to reach 1100 kilograms, a very high aim. The engines will be four or five-cylinder engines only, and with a topmodel like the current one, this car promises to be good!
