Cool thing: Rolls-Royce Ghost Alpine Trial Centenary Collection

Next June, it’s exactly 100 years ago Rolls-Royce won the Alpine Trials with four Ghosts. In the same year, the Silver Ghost received the the prestigious title ‘Best Car in the World’. For Rolls-Royce, this was the reason to build the Ghost Alpine Trial Centenary Collection. A Ghost which remembers us of Rolls-Royces success in 1913.

It’s the first Bespoke Rolls-Royce inspired by a classic Rolls-Royce. The colour sprouts from the Silver Ghost which drove the Alpine Trail in 1913. That’s why the car also has got a black grill and black wheels. Despite the colour combination is 100 years old, the Ghost looks beautiful and modern in this setting.

On the 14th of June, a hommage tour to the 1913 rally will start in Vienna, in which Rolls-Royce will take part. Fourty classic Silver Ghosts will travel trough Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Croatia and come back in Vienna on the 29th of June. This rally takes place at the same time as another rally, organized by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club. Both groups will come together at the Lago di Garda in Italy for a meeting. If anyone captures the cars somewhere in Europe, feel free to mail us the pictures!
