The Bentley Mulsanne will be one of the biggest convertible cars we have ever seen. It’s very hard to make a worthy competitor of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead. But it's exactly what Bentley is going to try. With an extremely luxurious interior and a striking exterior, this car is going to steal the show the following years at the Côte d’Azur.
But we still have to do it with the following impression. Though we can imagine that the car will eventually be produced just like this, because the impression is almost perfect. With a shortened wheelbase and only two doors you have a completely different car than the extremely long closed version.
We only miss a few details on this impression. We already know that the doors won’t have levers so the sides are ‘clean’. Also the A-pillar will be placed more to the front and it will be lower. Further, the back will be different from the four-door Mulsanne and will lay a link to the 1950’s Bentley R-type. When you're interested, make sure you'll be there in time because Bentley doesn’t want to produce more than 250 copies a year. Finally a new V12 will be fitted for the ultimate luxurious feeling.
