Again, Gumpert is bankrupt and the story seems to end here. After a new restart, the company couldn’t manage and they won’t build any new bizarre fast Apollo’s anymore. Yesterday, the judgment was executed and we won’t spot any new models by Gumpert anymore, until a new investor invests in this special company.
The Gumpert Apollo has always been very extreme. Maybe a bit too extreme for most of the potential owners, because they sell not enough cars to make a profit. In March, this year, a new investor was found and they even developed a new model but they didn’t make it. The result is the end of Gumpert and a debt of 1.7 million Euros. Who will think that it’s worth this much money to save this special company is a true hero, we hope that someone will be crazy enough!
