If you drive a Maybach in Albania, it seems you need to be ready to tackle rough terrain, and not because it ends up parked in the middle of the woods, as you might expect from these images. Instead, it’s because this thing sits literally as high as a bus.
When you think of tuning a Mercedes-Maybach, you probably imagine a lowered suspension and maybe a set of stylish rims. But this Albanian S600 Maybach went in the exact opposite direction. Its air suspension has been raised so far that it almost looks like it’s been converted into an offroader. In fact, it even seems higher than what the standard suspension would normally allow. By now, this particular car probably has a ground clearance of well over 30 cm.
Aesthetically, though, it’s a bit questionable. The car that’s usually the definition of elegance now looks so bulky that you could almost mistake it for a tank.
