Minimal differences: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 2013

The difference is just minimal, compared with its predecessor. It are differences which won’t stand out for just someone passing by, probably only a spotter will notice them. We’re talking about the newest Grand Cherokee SRT-8 by Jeep. The two copies which are spotted in Barcelona are probably the new demo models. It must be a lot of fun to take place behind the steering wheel of this powerful SUV.

You have to take a good look and compare the old model with the new one to see the differences. Die-hard spotters probably know the differences. The front looks just a bit different. The most important detail are the headlight units which are equipped with LED-lighting. This makes the SUV look just a bit more refreshing and modern. At the back, the lights are replaced by better looking copies which are again, equipped with LED-lighting.

Other important changes are the start/stop system, improved eight speed gearbox and launch control. The gearbox improves the driving of the 6.4 liters V8 with 477 bhp and 630 Nm of torque. You’ll be faster at the traffic lights. This new model is spotted very soon after its introduction. The press announcement was released on 14 January!
