The straight-six engine returns in the BMW M3 F30!
May 23, 2012, 1:00 PM It only lasted one generation. The mighty V8 from the BMW M3 will be downsized. We already saw this coming after the M5 and M6 lost two cylinders, but eventually it is a bummer. The sound will definitely change. The rumble will disappear and the characteristics of the engine will change. Lovers of the older M3 series will only be happy with the return of the straight-six engine and we can also understand that.

Some members of our team were out of bed at 5 am already, just because their biological clock isn’t used to the time difference in New York.
