This car needs no introduction. It's a Rolls-Royce among... Rolls-Royces. A true limousine. Quite recently I've managed to contact the owner of this car. The result? A photo session, a really successful one, because apart from beautiful photos, we learned a lot from each other.

A photoshoot with the king of cars is really stressful. How to make Her Majesty pose? How to show the power and luxury of the car? Luckily, the owner was really patient. As it came out later, he was also a photographer so we had tons of equipment and a lot of experience.

The Rolls appeared to be a good model, it looked perfect from any angle. The weather was good, after a rainy and foggy day. The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is an amazing car. From a long distance you could already notice that it's not an average 70s classic car. Take a closer look, and you will see that the Rolls-Royce is really unique. Starting with a gigantic grille, with the famous Spirit of Ecstasy statue on top, ending on the rear with a silver badge with the name of the model.

The interior is pure luxury. Everything is designed with taste and made of the best quality materials. Every moving part works perfectly, ending with a characteristic "click". The electrical windows are silent — and I say it without any exaggeration. When I opened the windows in my Civic the very same day, it sounded like a T34 tank driving by.

Despite its luxurious character the Silver Shadow is not only a limousine. Hidden under the long, beautifully sculpted hood, there is an almost 7 liter V8 engine which can show its claws when needed. The Rolls reminds me of American muscle cars. Soft suspension and an enormous engine. With a little, but meaningful difference. You can place a glass full of water on the engine cover of the Rolls-Royce and be utterly sure that it's not going to spill a single drop.

The car is in mint-perfect, "driven on sundays" condition, despite the fact that the current owner is the fifth and that the Rolls-Royce is sometimes used as a wedding limo. Well, the Rolls-Royce quality is not only a myth.

Quite soon we will be reshooting the car, probably with its Silver Shadow almost-twin brother. You will be able to see the results on my page, as soon as we're done editing.
