For years, the Swiss tuner FAB Design is one of the leading manufacturers in the segment of exclusive tuning. Attention of the media isn’t that important for them, their focus is on satisfying customers. The companies produces exclusive bodykits for brands like Porsche and Mercedes-Benz, but also others. Lately, Filip Kovacic had the opportunity to take a closer look to all these exclusive toys in FAB’s showroom in the small town of Hunzenschwil.
The showroom is full of epic cars. Two white but different looking MP4-12C Tersos, an MP4-12C Chimera from Geneva, an SLS AMG Gullstream, an SLR McLaren Desire / Roadster / 722. Also a Stirling Moss, Carrera GT, Zonda F Clubsport number 01 of 25 and so on. Weeks and months ago there was the one of the three Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita parked into a parking lot in zurich city for more than a month, there was also other tuned stuff parked at FAB Design. The well known matte pink Lamborghini Aventador LP670-2 Oakley Design from Nasser Al-Thani and a red BMW X6 M from Hamann the Tycoon Evo M. Everytime the showroom looks different.
In 1978 has FAB Design started to modify luxury cars. Since 1998 they exclusively tuned Mercedes-Benz cars. Now they also offer tuning for the McLaren MP4-12C and also for the Roadster edition called Terso and Terso Roadster. New creation at FAB Design is the MP4-12C Chimera who was also presented at the Geneva Car Show 2013. For Porsches they offer a tuning for the Panamera and the Cayenne called the Emperor. Last tuning they offer is for the Maybach 57, they have one matte blue in their showroom and this one is the greatest looking Maybach I've ever seen.
The Buyers of FAB Design fabulous cars are most Arabs and Sheiks. Most of them love Roland Rysaneks creatures and they're right, the cars are awsome. There are several cars in the showroom that belongs to Arabs.
