Rolls-Royce Spectre will not take long anymore

Last year, Rolls-Royce unveiled the Spectre. A Phantom based car that will be fully electric powered. The most luxurious brand in the world is therefore also switching to electrification.

It is not the first time that Rolls-Royce has ventured into an electric car. The 102EX was a one-off prototype that was introduced back in 2011. This was a fully electric Phantom with a range of 200 kilometers on a full charge. We are now twelve years later and the technology has also improved lot, so that Rolls-Royce ventures into the Spectre. It is the first step towards the target set for 2030. In that year, only electric Rolls-Royces will be made. The Specter already has relatively good technology and that naturally comes from BMW. 900 Nm of torque, 585 hp and a WLTP range of 520 kilometers. In practice that will be a lot less because the velvety feet that people have during the WLTP procedure are not reserved for ordinary people. Here in Leipzig we see the first copy without camouflage but still with some advertising from Rolls-Royce. The first copies for customers will not be far away.
