The big SUVs want to keep up with the sports cars and need more power. We just published the article about Geiger Cars who tuned the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and now IMSA comes up with a new tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG which boosts the power of the AMG.
The cars are much faster and this makes it possible to keep up with the regular sports cars. IMSA also introduces a new bodykit with 16 new components next to the power boost. These components can optionally be made out of carbon fiber. Think of a new grill, mirrors, air intakes and hood of the car. Under the hood IMSA did quite a good job. The AMG now produces 730 hp and 1.035 Nm of torque. This is possible thanks to a new exhaust system with downpipes and sports catalysts.
