A unique look at the cars of the Isreali Army

Aug 19, 2013, 1:41 PM The Hummer H2 and H3 are big SUVs that are mainly driven by the wealthy in different parts of the world. These cars however, have very little in common with their tough brother, the H1. In fact, the H2 is based on a smaller SUV, the Chevrolet Tahoe. The H1 is a civilian model, derived from it's military cousin, which are the various versions of the AM General HMMWV, a name that was converted into "Humvee". Soon, the name 'Hummer' was also derived from Humvee, which sounds a bit tougher than 'Humvee'. We have welcomed many copies of The AM General HMMWV on Autogespot, all of which have been in military specification. A group of these military spec vehicles, have been spotted in the village of Malkiya, Israel, by spotter DragonDriver, who was recently on holiday in the country. He tells us about his experiences with Israel and the Israeli Army vehicles below.

Go as low as a Russian kite: the TopCar Stinger

Aug 18, 2013, 4:10 PM Stinger is the name of an American anti-missile system which is made to defend low flying objects. We are sure that the TopCar Stinger is built with the same function, it is made to work as low to the ground as possible. The Stinger is the last project of the Russian tuner, based in Moscow, of which we maintained good contacts. We had the opportunity to make use of this unique Porsche 991 Carrera 4S for a report. This time fortunately not during winter conditions but during a hot summer day in the Russian capital.

Aug 7, 2013, 6:21 PM The Porsche 991 GT3 is not often spotted. It is still pretty new, because we know that it was introduced only in March of this year. Despite Porsche not introducing a full manual transmission, we nevertheless, will soon see many GT3's of this new era on the site, but not many we believe will be as stunning as this one.

Is this the same racing legend we think it is?

Jul 26, 2013, 6:47 PM Low, long sports cars were a big thing at the very end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s. The lower and flatter the car, the less air resistance and the more chances you have to win at Le Mans. The Jaguar XJR-9LM is such a car that was all the rage at the Circuit de la Sarthe. Oddly enough, one example was spotted in the town of Hemel Hempstead, riding on public roads. How can this be road legal?

BMW X6 M Design Edition is coming

Jul 26, 2013, 3:03 PM The three colours of BMW's M division are hugely known and recognizable in the automotive world. We increasingly see the known colours used in the appearance of various BMWs, but now BMW has decided to place the colours on one of their latest special editions to the M line-up. The BMW X6 M Design Edition will be the last of the X6 M's, with only 100 being made as a farewell to the Sports Activity Coupe. The Striping isn't the only changes that this X6 M will have.

VÄTH Automobiltechnik gives CLS Shooting Brake more than 800 hp

Jul 26, 2013, 2:11 PM VÄTH Automobiltechnik has created a car which combines two of the best features you could have on a car. Lots of power and lots of space. The Mercedes-Benz tuner therefore opted for the ornate CLS Shooting Brake, with it's space at the rear to do your weekly shopping. The result is 846 hp and 1550 liters of luggage space. The boot is the same as the standard, but the power, is definitely not.

Jul 20, 2013, 11:26 AM A good color is one of the key elements of a car. It makes or breaks the car, much like wheels do. There are special studies that are made, by automakers which learn about the colour of a car. A dark hue of green can look absolutely gorgeous on certain cars, especially the XKR and some Aston Martins, but one Ferrari F12berlinetta, has been spotted at the Lanesborough hotel in London in a dark green colour. We believe that it looks, absolutely amazing.

Another special Bentley Mulsanne spotted: in pink!

Jul 20, 2013, 10:05 AM Recently on Autogespot, a special Bentley Mulsanne 2009 was spotted. This model was painted in a bold color, but many people liked this certain colour. This was spotted in London copy and was finished in body color called Red Devil. A colour like this can really increase the view of the contours of a Mulsanne or any Bentley, and definitely make the car seem just that more special and unique, compared to a grey or black coloured model. One Mulsanne was spotted in Tokyo, however the colour is very strange. And for good reason.

Now spotted on the streets: Project Kahn Ferrari 458 Spider!

Jul 17, 2013, 9:01 AM Just over a month ago, we got these perfect photos of a Project Kahn tuned Ferrari 458 Spider. In the press photos we can always interpret a perfect and ideal situation to see how a set of aftermarket wheels fit on a certain car. However, the best judgement of how a car looks with a certain set of wheels, is when you see it in real life, and on the streets. In this case, this 458 Spider was casually parked on a side street in London. The plate is also very unique too, read officially as '18O' but looks like '180'. Maybe the owner is into Darts?

Goodwood 2013: Michelin Supercar Run

Jul 16, 2013, 4:17 PM The Michelin Supercar Run at Goodwood is a collection of some of the most expensive and fastest exotic cars in the world. This million Euros parade of supercars is a delight to the ears and eyes of people who both take part, and attend the event. What is expected from this event then? The Spyker C8 Aileron, the RUF CTR-3 and the Koenigsegg Agera are but a few of the amazing exotics that were taking part in the run. Even the Spanish GTA Spano Motors was present.
