BMW's i8 is a hyper modern sportcar. Under the bonnet we can find a three cylinder hybrid which is good enough for almost 400 bhp. Because it's four wheel driven, the specifications are quite good too. In 4.4 seconds this car can hit 100 kph. A topspeed of 250 kilometers per hour is possible too. The hybrid engine, which powers the front wheels, produces 131 bhp. The three cylinder engine, produces 231 bhp with its 1.5 liter capacity. Together they only use 2.5 liters per hundred kilometeres, which is way lower than the current range of hybrids on sale.
