Apparently the BMW M3 doesn't really like to get a facelift. Earlier this year his less powerful brothers got a small facelift but as soon as it was time for the BMW M3 it all went silent. Earlier it also took a long time before the E46 M3 and E9x M3 got their facelift after their less powerful brothers. Finally the F80 M3 got its facelift!
Just like we expected we see the same adjustments as we've seen on the normal 3 Series models. This means a new layout for the headlights and new taillight units with more flowing light beams which are more in line with the modern BMWs. Even the interior gets a small upgrade with better materials and an update for the iDrive system. The technical specifications are still unchanged. Under the hood we still find the three liter turbo straight six engine producing 431 hp which makes it possible to sprint to 100 kph in 4.1 seconds with the DCT gearbox or in 4.3 seconds with the manual gearbox.
