IAA 2015: Startech Mulsanne

Sep 18, 2015, 12:08 PM Startech is Brabus' sister company and focuses on tuning luxurious British cars. On the IAA they show their vision on the Bentley Flying Spur and Continental GTC but they also brought this Mulsanne to Frankfurt. On the outside we see some minor adjustment and that's something we appreciate. Only the wheels of the stately Mulsanne will give away that this copy is tuned. On the inside we find the adjustments Brabus also used for the S-Class, such as leather and alcantara in every possible colour. The model on the show is equipped with a few iPads in the back so that you can stay productive while traveling. There's only one extra option that really has a big benefit.

IAA 2015: Brabus G 500 4x4

Sep 18, 2015, 10:28 AM The great thing about Brabus is that they always manage to make the cars look even better in real life. The entire stand is filled with big blcak cars and that's always a really impressive sight. One of the literal highlights of the show is the Brabus G 500 4x4 which they recently tuned. The result was already highlighted on our frontpage thanks to Brabus' press release but now that we've seen the car in real life it looks even more imposing.

IAA 2015: Mansory Bentley Continental GTC

Sep 18, 2015, 8:42 AM On the IAA we didn't only find Startech's Continental GTC, also Mansory brought a copy of this car. Startech made the Bentley still look classy but Mansory isn't that modest. They come up with a very outstanding Continental GTC.

IAA 2015: Brabus AMG GT S

Sep 17, 2015, 4:35 PM If there's one car that really surprised us this year reagering speed and dynamics it's definitely the Mercedes-AMG GT S. The car is incredibly fast, very sharp and produces a lovely soundtrack. Still that doesn't bother Brabus and they decided to come up with an even faster version of this model. The four liter V8 now produces 150 hp per liter and that results in quite a performance!

IAA 2015: BMW M6 GT3

Sep 17, 2015, 3:17 PM The last few years BMW raced on tracks all over the world with their Z4 GT3. Under the hood of this monster, the 4.4 liter V8 of the E92 M3 GTS doesn't only produce enough M power, it also produces the best sound in most of the endurances racing classes. A mix of the sound of the E30 M3 and E46 M3 CLS combined with a hammering V8. Optical, the Z4 GT3 looks like a brutal version of the standard Z4 which looks quite tame. It's a shame that BMW never built a street legal version and more powerful version like the GT3.

IAA 2015: Ford Focus RS

Sep 17, 2015, 2:09 PM If we had to wait long for one car it is the Ford Focus RS. We already saw the exterior of the car but now Ford finally released the specifications of the car. It's clear that is a competitor of every hothatch available at this moment. The looks are already great but the specifications are even better.

IAA 2015: Alpina B3 Facelift

Sep 17, 2015, 1:00 PM Next to the completely new 7 Series, BMW also released a small facelift for the 3 Series. When this happens you know that it won't take long before Alpina comes up with an update for the B3 and the result can is shown next to the new B7 on their stand in Frankfurt. Just like the normal 3 Series there are only small optical adjustments. We see some new bumpers, kidneys that are completely chromed and the LED headlights with a new layout. At the back we see new taillight units which we know from the BMW version. At the inside of the car the B3 profits from the upgrade BMW made on the 3 Series.

IAA 2015: Carlsson CC63S Rivage

Sep 17, 2015, 10:36 AM There's enough room for tuners to show their latest projects on the IAA in Frankfurt. A tuning company that's been known for years already in the 'scene' is Carlsson. They needed to bring something special to this show and that's why they brought the Carlsson CC63S Rivage. A car that's quite outstanding and colourful.

IAA 2015: BMW M3 Facelift

Sep 17, 2015, 8:55 AM Apparently the BMW M3 doesn't really like to get a facelift. Earlier this year his less powerful brothers got a small facelift but as soon as it was time for the BMW M3 it all went silent. Earlier it also took a long time before the E46 M3 and E9x M3 got their facelift after their less powerful brothers. Finally the F80 M3 got its facelift!

IAA 2015: Brabus C 63 600

Sep 17, 2015, 8:00 AM Everybody with some love for German engines will know Mercedes-AMG's 4.0 twinturbo V8 engine. The engine made its debut last year in the AMG GT and meanwhile a lot of models such as a the C 63 and, although with less power, the Mighty Mercedes G500 4x4, use this engine. Many more models will be added to this list in the future. The strongest version of this engine by Mercedes-AMG produces 510 hp although it must be able to boost the power of this engine. The men from Brabus share this opinion and they boost the power with an extra 90 hp and bring it to a total of 600 hp.
