Video: BMW M3 crashes in the rain

Aug 9, 2012, 12:00 PM We already knew we can consider ourselves lucky in Holland with the superb condition of the asphalt on our roads. Even in heavy rain there are hardly any puddles and a minimal chance of aquaplaning. The roads in China, on the other hand, are a bit rougher. The surface is pretty smooth but the type of asphalt used, create massive puddles which can’t drain easily. If you drive too fast in those circumstances things can go horribly wrong. This was the case for a BMW M3 which starting sliding in the rain and crashed right into the centre guardrail.

Luckily the sun stayed away for this spot so we don’t need our sunglasses when looking at this cool cruiser. This chrome Bentley Continental GT will be the most striking car when the sun is out. The chrome paint will create quite a few reflections when driving down the road.

Ferrari 599 GTO beautifully captured on the Autobahn

Aug 9, 2012, 9:00 AM By far most of the Ferrari 599 GTO’s were spotted either parked or stationary. That’s probably the easiest way to take some high quality photos of it. Ert und Bernie prove that you can get that same level of quality on a highway when they recently spotted the fastest Ferrari on the German roads. We don’t know if the driver managed to get to its maximum power of 670 bhp but there is no denying he’ll always stand out!

Event: SEFAC Ferrari Day at the Kyalami circuit Johannesburg

Aug 8, 2012, 3:59 PM Past Saturday the 14th July 2012 was the Annual SEFAC Ferrari Day held at Kyalami in Johannesburg, South Africa. Reputed to be the oldest Ferrari owners' club in the world, the Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobil Club was established in Johannesburg in 1967. Founded by enthusiast Pierre Kelfkens as a motivation for luncheon get-togethers with like-minded Ferraristi, SEFAC fast became the foremost single-marque automotive Club on the African continent.

Aug 8, 2012, 12:07 PM Some cars look like they could only exist as plastic miniature models in a toystore. Swiss tuner FAB Design’s creations are the perfect example of some of those cars. Totally over the top for clients still feeling like a little kid inside. FAB Design doesn’t use plastic though, it’s all Swiss perfection.

Video: EVO matches up the Ferrari F12berlinetta and 599 GTO

Aug 8, 2012, 10:26 AM Ferrari’s latest supercar has already been spotted a couple of times and the media has had their first taste of it as well. EVO took the wheel and went nuts with the F12berlinetta. To get a decent comparison they added one of Ferrari’s other gems from their stable. The 730 bhp of the F12 is lined up with the 670 bhp strong 599 GTO. The result is a great film with loud sounds!

Maybach 62S shows its size in Monaco

Aug 8, 2012, 9:00 AM We already know Maybachs are enormously long cars providing you with extraordinary luxurious standards thanks to our own special. Seeing it in traffic is a great way to see the actual dimensions in comparison to the rest of the traffic. This Maybach 62S was parked on a bend with several exotic cars driving by. It clearly shows that the 62S is one enormous vehicle.

Spotted: Superbly composed Porsche 997 GT3 RS

Aug 7, 2012, 7:31 PM Thanks to its bright colours, the first series of the Porsche 997 GT3 RS has always been an eyecatcher. Not a single copy drove around the streets anonymously; even if the owner had picked a black colour scheme, it often was one with orange striping. This particular Porsche however, shows the opposite: it’s a GT3 RS with orange painting and black striping. This colour combination also appears in the rims, which makes it a good-looking unity.

Unknown but beautiful: Schloss Dyck Classic Days

An more unknown event in Europe are the Schloss Dyck Classic days in Germany. An event held on yearly basis and a lot of future classics are shown on a beautifull estate. Spotted: one of 30 BMW M3 M Performance Editions

Aug 7, 2012, 2:54 PM The colors red, white and blue are not only related to the flags of the United Kingdom and Holland. It is also related to the M-Division of BMW. In june BMW announced the special M Performance Edition of the M3 and all of these cars would be delivered in 'Frozen' matte colors. The Performance editions are more expensive than any other M3. No reason for customers to not buy this special edition since all copies are sold out. The first one got spotted in Berkhamstead.
