Competitor of the Modball Rally spotted in Knokke-Heist
Jul 15, 2012, 6:30 PM In the period between 16 and 22 June, the Modball Rally took place. This is an event similar to the Gumball 3000 only a bit cheaper. This year’s edition started in London and the finish was at the party destination, Ibiza! Recently one of the competitors was spotted in Knokke-Heist: the Audi R8 of Repsol Team!

Event: Le Mans Classic part three
Jul 15, 2012, 1:00 PM On the weekend of July 6th, the ‘second’ 24 Hours of Le Mans was organized: Le Mans Classic. For the sixth time the visitors made a time journey. After the record edition of 2010, the 2012-edition had more than 100.000 visitors in attendance. Along with many participants and fans, there were also around 170 car clubs at Le Mans. The largest of these clubs was the Porsche Club with around 1100 cars as the Germans are used to, sorted by type of car.

Philippe Collinet has the most beautiful Gumball 3000 spot!
Jul 14, 2012, 3:30 PM It was a very close battle between the gentlemen Collinet and van Rooij. Both photographers were nominated for the best Gumball 3000 spot. Two weeks ago the voting started on four hundred spots but the battle began very quick between the two spots from these two photographers. Phillipe Collinet however had more chance to win, because two of his spots were in the top three. Thomas van Rooij also had chance to win, but could keep up very good with Philippe Collinet.

Aston Martin One-77 in the port of Cannes
Jul 14, 2012, 2:00 PM In Monaco it is relatively calm with superscars, but in Cannes it is a real spotters heaven. We didn't see an Aston Martin One-77 yet, but we can also mark that one. It already is standing in Cannes, shining in the port. We talk about a right-hand-drive black copy with a cognac coloured interior. A beautiful combination!

Unique spot: Audi R8 GT Spyder
Jul 14, 2012, 12:30 PM On the 3rd of June 2011, we received a press report about the Audi R8 GT Spyder. Since that time, we didn't hear many more about this German convertible, limited to 333 copies. Even the spotters don't see or spot it, only eight different copies are spotted. This makes it far more exclusive than the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. However, Bavariaspotter managed to spot a new copy in München.

Spotter Drieske managed to spot this combo at the valet parking of the SAS cafe in Monaco. We will name all the cars in this combo.
