You've already seen the McLaren P1 in a lot of different colours on Autogespot but the colour of the following McLaren P1 is something we haven't seen before.
Last year, an American was spotted in Germany in a green P1, which was quite special. This copy was spotted in Tokyo by our local photographer and this copy is even more unique thanks to the brighter green colour. Of course this copy is composed at McLaren Special Operations. The contrast with this sinister copy from Belgium is enormous. This copy is going viral thanks to its unique colour. McLaren will build only 375 copies of the P1 but it looks like every copy is unique!
The McLaren P1 is the hypercar of this moment. It's a technical showcase of the current generation hypercars which are setting new limits. Cars like the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Aston Martin One-77 and other hypercars are completely forgotten. Carbon fiber and hybrid technology are the new key words that make the P1 so special. The car is extremely lightwieght and thanks to the hybrid technology also environmentally friendly. The V8 mid-engine produces 727 hp and the hybrid engine adds another 176 hp. These 176 hp are always available and the torque of the electric engines is available at zero rpm. That's why the P1 sprints to 100 kph in three seconds. The sprint to 200 kph takes less than seven seconds and within seventeen seconds you have reached 300 kph. The digital speedometer will stop at a limited top speed of 350 kph.
