Spotter Big_Marx

1. Who are you and what country are you from?
My name is Mark Koščak also known as Big_Marx here on Autogespot. I'm 19 years old photograhper who is mainly focused in automotive photography. I'm from little country in Europe, Slovenia.

2. How long are you active as a car spotter and where do you normally spot cars?
Well my first official spot which I posted on Autogespot was back in 2011 in Greece when I was there on holidays with family. But of course this was not my first spot because before that I was already taking pictures of interesting cars but when I came on Autogespot there were certian rules you had to follow so almost all pictures were useless for AG but I used them for my website.

Normally I spot cars in my home town Ljubljana, mostly at expensive hotels but it's almost always empty because we are really small and our economy is not really good so almost no one can afford some sportscar. 90% of my spots are tourist cars so I doing my best to travel as much as possible.

3. What makes car spotting fun to do?
Well if you are car fanatic and you like taking pictures this is perfect combo because it's not just like ''oh I see Ferrari'' it's more like ''Oh I see Ferrari 599 GTO!'' :) So what makes it fun to do, well you can see some rare exotic cars in real life which you saw before only on pictures on internet. And from my expericences you also travel a lot more than usually because car spotting was the reason for me to visit some cities I wouldn't go normally. At the same time you can also spot some rare cars you never saw before even on internet so you actually learn something new. So far it's a lot fun and I love doing it, mostly because I love photography, cars and traveling. And I think that I will never stop carspotting because you can't get enough of this :)

4. What’s your best experience as a car spotter?
Well me and my brother are big fans of Nurburgring and we went there with 2 goals 1 was that we drive on the best race track in the world and second was to go spotting. I never imagined I would spot so many cars. It was amazing experience and I will be back soon! I probably saw some cars I won't see ever again in my really poor town of Ljubljana, unless I travel my whole life :)

5. What dream do you want to realize when you win the €3,000,- price?
Definitely I would spend a lot on gear because I really wish to have some better lens and some other stuff considering photography equipment. Other part of price I would spend on trips to Monaco, St. Tropez, London, Dubai and other really stunning cities perfect for car spotting around the world!

Win Your Supercar: which spotter gets your vote?Spotter Patrick Timmermans

1. Who are you and what country are you from?
I am Patrick Timmermans, 31 years old and I live in Vught, the Netherlands. I work as a leasing consultant at Alphabet in Breda. It's fun work and it's a great to combine work with cars. Recenlty, I adviced someone not to choose a Panamera but choose the M6 Gran Coupé instead. Via my work I have a lot of different connections with a nice collection of cars. Last year I had the chance to drive a 997 GT3 3.8 Mk2 via one of these connections. I literally travel through entire Europe for cars and I even drove to Paris to see the Gemballa Mig-U1 there. But the real highlight was the trip to Geneva to get a passengers ride in a McLaren F1, what an experience! When I remember this moment I still get goose bumps.. I'm a real car passionate!

2. How long are you active as a car spotter and where do you normally spot cars?
I'm active as a spotter since September 2008, which is quite late compared with my age. My favorite spot locations are London and Nürburg. Next to that, I drive a lot around my own hometown. You won't see much special cars very often but every now and then it results in a great spot. That's what I like about spotting, the unexpected moment you see a supercar.

3. What makes car spotting fun to do?
Spotting is so much fun to do because you simply can't predict what cars you will see. I also like the reactions from other people: "Is there someone famous in the car? No, it is just about that car". And these people just don't understand what I mean. Next to that, friendly and waving owners inside the car make it also more fun to do!

4. What’s your best experience as a car spotter?
My best experience was definitely the passengers ride in the McLaren F1 for which I drove to Geneva. It will be quite hard to surpass that. Only driving a F1 myself can surpass that experience.
An unexpected experience was my passengers ride in a Corvette Z06 on the Nürburgring, earlier this year. I was making some photos of the car when the owner offered me to take place in the car. Amazing!

5. What dream do you want to realize when you win the €3,000,- price?
When I win the price I would visit the United States in August and visit all the great events. When I still have some money left after this trip, I will return home via a stop in Dubai.

Win Your Supercar: which spotter gets your vote?Spotter Philip Wendel

1. Who are you and what country are you from?
My name is Philip Wendel and i run Swedish Supercars with my girlfriend Johanna Nilsson. We are two super pationate car spotters with an eye for detail, we love going out around town and country to find the most exotic and exclusive cars to spot, it's our perfect way to explore and discover new things and places about the world we live in. Absoloutly love to travel but really can't stretch our legs since we both suffer from bad economy and hard times. Since we both are going to study and need jobs on the side there's not much time left for travelling, nor is there any money left for it either. Studying these days don't come cheap.

You can find our entry to the competition right below, we believe this is the most spectacular spot we've seen so far, it's far from the most expensive or exclusive car but it's a symbol for what we are doing and love, the pictures we took and edited for this spot was the best so far, i'm a perfectionist and i can sit for hours with a single picture and never really get it right, but this is a spot im proud off if i may say it myself. It was one of the first days we were out around town only for spotting and i was so happy we found this cold F430 in the parking lot all by itself, it looked to awesome next to the other normal cars. Keep in mind Helsingborg in Sweden is not really famous for car spotting or expensive cars so to say, sure there's usually something out and about but even a F430 is kinda rare here so seeing one on a day like that was just perfect and it really gets you going.

2. How long are you active as a car spotter and where do you normally spot cars?
We are active 24 hours and 7 days a week, usually what we do is that we listen for certain cars on the main street, we live in the middle of Helsingborg and right on the main street so keeping a window open always helps.
As soon as we hear something i always have to go out and look, i have been a car geek since as long as i remember so i usually hear if it's something worth going out for or not. But we are always ready with our cameras where ever we are and whatever the time is.

3. What makes car spotting fun to do?
It's a hard question to answer due to the fact that it's such a huge combination of things, like i mentioned before i have always been extremely into cars and want to know and learn everything about it, as i learn more i also love to share it with my friends and family, that's kinda how i got my girlfriend into it, as soon as i saw some exotic or special car i immediately started bombarding here with facts and specifications and such, she started to memorise this and loves photographing and the look of the cars so our interests kinda loverlapped and here we are today, two super dedicated car spotters with a huge love for it.

4. What’s your best experience as a car spotter?
Just going about and looking for the cars and finding places you normally would't go to or visit, just a simple thing like going into this or that alley or going all the way to the other side of town just to check for cars, you find such lovely and special places while you do this and the satisfaction of walking for hours and then finding a spot is priceless.

5. What dream do you want to realize when you win the €3,000,- price?
It would defenitely be to be able to go to a car spotting paradise like London, Monaco, Dubai, Cannes, Paris and so on.
We are extremely restriced right now like i mentioned above by economic problems so getting to travel to just one of these locations would be a dream come true, when i dont car spot i always watch youtubers like "Marchettino" and "Shmee150" (with many many more of course.) and what they get to experience in their daily basis is a dream and goal in my life and i hope to achive it or atleast get a little bit closer to it trough Autogespot and Youtube.

Win Your Supercar: which spotter gets your vote?Spotter Mattia

1. Who are you and what Country are you from?
Hi! I'm Mattia (Manzodj on Autogespot) and I'm 18 years old.

I live in Italy, and Bologna is the place where I usually have the possibility to spot great cars; unfortunately, rich people in my city spend their money on everything but cars! So it often happens that I don't see any nice car for days... Fortunately, I'm half hungarian, and every time I go to Budapest, I feel like being in heaven, because anywhere I turn, I see some epic cars (it's the only place where I've seen a Koenigsegg!). I became a real car spotter last year, just a few months before knowing Autogespot (which is now a great reason to look for supercars).

The best thing about car spotting is running after cool cars, even on big roads, or chasing them by car when possible (you know, my Fiat Panda isn't strong enough to follow a Lambo on the highway) and shouting at my friends to run faster and faster to take as many shots as possible.

The best experience related to cars that I've ever had was this year: for my 18th birthday I was taken on a 30 minute ride in an Ariel Atom on the hills of Budapest. You can't imagine the beauty that the city gains when you see it from an Ariel ;)
I'm not sure at all that this e-mail will help me win the 3000,- prize, but if I were so lucky to win, I would surely buy a white piano to put in my living room, because playing the piano is the other great passion that I have together with car spotting.

Win Your Supercar: which spotter gets your vote?

1. My name is Koen Smits, 14 years old and living in Groningen, The Netherlands. Two months ago, I passed by Autogespot on the internet.

2. I am actively spotting for two months now and I have uploaded quite a lot of spots. In the two month I've been spotting cars every weekend, cycling around 60 kilometers to see the best cars around. I am also looking on Autogespot for cars spotted in the area I live, so I can go search for them.

3. What spotting makes fun for me is the surprise you get every now and then. That one special car you suddenly see, that makes your heart beats faster. I normally stay with the car until it leaves, so I can smell it and hear the sound of it. I have waited 1,5 hours near a Lamborghini, just to have that very special moment.

4. The best experience I had so far was six years ago, when I went to Monaco for vacation. I saw several sportcars and I was completely living my dream. I had a drive as a passenger in a Ferrari F430 Spyder. We drove with 150 kmh through Monaco and it really was the best experience for me so far.

5. If I win 3.000 euros, I would directly go back to Monaco to relive it all again. It is for me the perfect place for supercars. To have that very special moment again is really a big dream for me. That is my "try before you die"
