Villa d'Este 2016: Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo

May 22, 2016, 6:05 PM As many of you must have already noticed: we were present at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este this year. While the 2002 Hommage and the Vanquish Zagato were the only world premieres there, it was an automotive party from the highest order. Bugatti also joins the fun. Not with a Chiron unfortunately, but the car they've brought with them truly makes up for it: the insane Vision GT!

May 22, 2016, 4:30 PM The 100th anniversary of BMW is the perfect occasion for the guys from München to realise a beautiful concept. Last year, we could enjoy the beautiful BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage at Villa 'd Este. This year it's the BMW 2002 Hommage's turn to draw everyone's attention. The sad thing is: BMW already announced they do not plan on putting this concept into production. Yet still, there is a lot to enjoy about this car!

Villa d'Este 2016: Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept

During the concours, the estate Villa d'Este at Lake Como is home to some of the most beautiful creations the automotive industry has ever designed/produced. We could already have a glimpse at the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato thanks to the pictures that were released yesterday. In order to fully appreciate a car however, you have to see it in the flesh. Behold: the first live images of the Vanquish Zagato at Villa d'Este!

Driven: McLaren 570S

May 10, 2016, 4:00 PM McLaren: once the underdog, right now a big name in the supercar world. Of course the history of McLaren in terms of road cars goes way back to cars like the F1 and the SLR McLaren, but things really started to get going with the introduction of the (MP4-)12C. While it was an epic car from a technological perspective, it lacked a bit of emotion and it had a few bugs. Soon after the 12C the 650S was introduced, which proved to be everything we would’ve ever wanted from the 12C. These were all cars from the Super Series, which are more upmarket. Because McLaren also wanted to offer clients (say 911 Turbo buyers) in the lower segment of the market an option they introduced the Sports Series, with the 570S being the first car in this ‘range’. It has the same carbonfiber monocoque and V8-engine as the previous models, only with a little bit less power. Time to shine!
