Hennessey tunes a four-cylinder engine

This means that they will have to work with four cylinders less than they normally do. The American tuner from Texas often tunes big V8 engines. The manage to gain a lot of power from these engines but now they've downsized. The four-cylinder turbo engine in the Ford Focus RS is the next engine they lay their hands on.

The results are quite good. 405 hp and 572 Nm of torque. The standard 350 hp already felt quite fast so you will definitely feel the extra power. Hennessey did things the safe way. They adjusted the software an increased the turbo pressure. Mechanically they installed a high-flow air filter and a stainless steel damper with electronic valves. These relative simple adjustments still manage to gain quite a lot of extra power. The choice is up to you. Will you prefer this Hennesse tuning package or do you wait for the Focus RS500 which will also produce 400 hp but will also weigh 100 kilograms less.
