Driving a Ford GT40 in the rain is something you won't like to do. Last week, one of the 107 original copies is crashed in Germany. The driver lost control of the car in a corner and hit some trees, which stand on both sides of the road. The completely bodywork is damaged but that isn't the worst thing.
The 43 years old passenger of the Ford GT40 didn't survive the crash. The driver was heavily injured but will remember this crash for the rest of his life. The Ford GT40 is probably total-loss because the car is cut open to secure the driver and his passenger. They were on their way to a meeting for classics, unfortunately they never reached their destination.
