It is official: Lamborghini breaks the Nürburgring lap record!

Mar 1, 2017, 5:37 PM It is October 5th, 2016, and Lamborghini took the Huracán Performante around the Nürburgring in a new record for Production Cars! Lamborghini just released new footage of the, to be released, Huracán Performante at the Nürburgring lapping the 'Ring in a time of 6:52. That is 5 seconds faster, yes 5 seconds, than the Porsche 918 Spyder's record of 6:57! More news will follow soon!

Praga R1R in snow and ice?

Feb 28, 2017, 5:25 PM One of the most extreme cars spotted on the road, in probably one of the most extreme conditions you can imagine for a car like this. Not sure why Jan Olson decided to take the Praga R1R on a tour through snow and ice. It certainly will provides for some great footage! The Slovakian-built Praga R1R is about as extreme as road cars get. The R1R is powered by a turbocharged Renaultsport engine, producing 390hp and that is a lot of horses for a car that weighs 1,477 lbs.

In 2016, Lamborghini sold a total of 3,457 cars, and 2,353 of them were the Huracan (both in the Coupe and Spyder version). The Spyder was not available until the second quarter of 2016, so we expect sales to grow easily to 3,500 cars in 2017. More proof of its success? This Huracan is #69 for spotter Horse-Power!

Gemballa returns with the Avalanche

Soon after the launch of the unique Gemballa MIG-U1, the Gemballa factory was seized by German authorities and shut down following the disappearance of Uwe Gemballa, who was later found dead. But the brand is making a comeback and it will be present at the Geneva Auto Show with the new Gemballa Avalanche. That is good news for its customers on the Arabic Peninsula where Gemballa enjoyed much success.
