Mercedes-AMG GT is almost ready
Jun 17, 2014, 10:14 AM Mercedes-AMG is putting on the finishing touches. The AMG GT is ready to be unveiled but we still have to wait for the Paris Motor Show for the official introduction. Yesterday, we published an article about the engine of the AMG GT. This new four-liter V8 engine produces up to 510 hp. On the spyshots we can now see that the well-known Gullwing doors of the SLS AMG won't return and this car will be fitted with normal doors. We can't wait to see the production version of this car!

The engine of the AMG GT will produce up to 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque. We don't know how this affects the performance, but we do know that the AMG GT will be unveiled in Paris, just like we sais before. The four-liter V8 isn't only the engine for the AMG GT, the new C 63 AMG will use the same engine.

Luckily, Piëch definitely has a lot of money. In April, he was spotted in a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. So he does own his own copy of the hypercar from his own Volkswagen group.
